Please join Powhatan County Parks and Recreation Department as we celebrate active aging week with a Senior Community Cookout.

Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Cost: Free Seniors age 50+

Who Should attend? Powhatan County Citizens 50+, Senior Organizations, Community Organizations, Health Providers and those interested in senior programs.

Adult 50+ Sports

Its no secret…exercise, recreation, social fun and opportunities to learn and grow make life richer at any age. Powhatan’s 50+ programs offer a wide range of ways for individuals 50 and over to find enjoyment and practice a healthy lifestyle.

Walking Club

Get energized, refreshed, n-shape, refined, renewed, motivated and healthy and happy! Enjoy the beauty of Fighting Creek Park and the Village area of the county while participating in this club.

Bowling League

Enjoy your favorite past time and win prizes as you bowl monthly in our Senior Bowling league.

Powhatan Senior Golf League

Senior golfers looking for men and women to join their weekly games. Play different area courses on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Tennis

Jogging Club
